John J. Moore, age 77 left us Tuesday, September 4, 2018. At his side was the one person that brought him comfort, love, and companionship, his wife of 41 years, Dee.
Roger W. Ebert, age 80 of Kilkenny died on Monday, September 17, 2018 at his home.
Gordon A. Smith, age 90, of Faribault, died on Thursday, September 6, 2018 at Homestead Hospice, Owatonna.
Memorial services will be held at Grace Baptist Church, Owatonna, on Friday, September 14, 2018 at 10 a.m. with the Reverend David Levy officiating. Interment and military rites will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis.
Memorial visitation will be at the church for one hour prior to the service on Friday.
Dorothy L. Bittner, age 95, of Elysian died September 7, 2018, at BridgeWater in Janesville.
Funeral Service will be 2 p.m. on Friday, September 14, 2018 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Janesville with Rev. Larry Griffin and Rev. Paul Muther officiating. Interment will follow in the Janesville Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 – 6 p.m. on Thursday, September 13, 2018 at Trinity Lutheran Church’s Discipling Center in Janesville and will continue for one hour prior to the service on Friday.
Memorials are preferred to Trinity Lutheran Church’s Discipling Center.

Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday, September 3, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Arlington, MN. Visitation will be at the Kolden Funeral Home in Arlington on Monday from noon until 1:45 p.m. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Catholic Church Cemetery followed by lunch at the church social hall. Fr. Aaron Johanneck will officiate the services.

HERBERT ROY VOLKMANN, age 82 of Waterville, died on Sunday, August 26, 2018 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester.
Myles Alphonse Balfe, age 57 of Waseca died on Friday, August 24, 2018 at his home following a brief but courageous battle with cancer.
Joan Leona Broughten, 85, of Owatonna, died Sunday, August 12, 2018 at Homestead Hospice House in Owatonna.
Mary Ann Evelyn Wilcox, age 83, passed away in The Woodlands, Texas, on August 3, 2018.
Mary Ann was born August 2, 1935 to Henry and Antonia Novotny in Le Center Township, Minnesota. She grew up on a farm near Le Center, and graduated from high school in nearby Montgomery.
In 1955, while working in Minneapolis for Cargill Corporation, she met Allan Wilcox, her husband of 63 years. They married July 2, 1955 in Montgomery, then moved shortly after to San Francisco.
Delmar J. Kramer, age 82 of Waterville died on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at the Lake Shore Inn in Waseca.
Nancy J. Frederick, age 60, of Lake Crystal died Friday, August 3, 2018 at Mayo Clinic Health System- Mankato. A Celebration of Life will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, August 9, 2018 at Woodland Hills Funeral Home. Nancy was born to Bernard and Phyllis (Pemrick) Hanks in Faribault, MN. She grew up and attended school in Waterville. Nancy married Lee Frederick December 28, 1984 at the Church of St. Canice, Kilkenny, MN. She enjoyed gardening, quilting, giving to thrift stores, card parties, volunteering but especially time spent with family and friends.
Shirley Lee Zimprich, age 82 of Elysian, died on Thursday, August 3, 2018 at the Oaklawn Rehabilitation Center in Mankato. Born on May 20, 1936 in Morristown, Shirley was the daughter of Donald and Ernestine (Woker) Meschke. After graduating from Morristown High School Shirley was married to Joseph F. Zimprich, Jr.
Anna Mary Peach, age 101 of Waterville died on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at Mayo Clinic Health System in Mankato. Born on April 10, 1917 in Le Sueur County, Minnesota, she was the daughter of Louis and Anna (Heyde) Felrath. She attended school in the rural St. Thomas area of Le Sueur County. She married Gordon Peach on September 16, 1940 at St.
Barbara L. Neitzel, age 85 of Waterville, died on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at Mayo Health System, St. Mary’s Campus, Rochester. A celebration of her life will be at Harvest Time Bible Church, 2627 2nd Ave NW, Faribault, MN 55021, on Saturday, August 11, 2018 at 2 p.m. with the Reverend Peter Kuriger officiating. No visitation will be held prior to the service; a time of fellowship and lunch will be shared after the service. Arrangements are being completed by the Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault.
