Audre Mae Johnson, age 82, of Lonsdale, died unexpectedly at her home on Monday, August 10, 2026. Audre was born on November 19, 1943, in Dassel, MN, to Warren and Mae (Ostlund) Nelson. She was a proud graduate of Dassel High School and went on to earn her Registered Nursing degree from Northwestern Hospital Nursing Program. Audre married her high school sweetheart, Robert Johnson, on September 26, 1964, at First Lutheran Church in Dassel. The young couple started out in Burnsville, where they had their three children.
Adeline “Shorty” D. Dietz, age 92, of Montgomery, passed away on August 4, 2026, at the Mayo Clinic Health System in Mankato, MN, with her loving family by her side.
Born on December 21, 1933, at her family home in St. Patrick, MN, she was the daughter of William and Adeline (Sticha) Bisek. She graduated from New Prague High School and later attended beauty school.
Joel Olson, age 82, of Webster, passed away on July 21, 2026, at the Mpls. Veterans Hospital after battling Agent Orange complications.
Joel was born in Hutchinson, MN, on October 21,1943, to LeRoy and Irene Olson. He graduated high school and then went to Brown Institute. Following that he joined the Marine Corp and served four years.
Maxine C. Holden, age 86, passed away peacefully following a heartbreaking battle with dementia. Memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday, August 4, 2026 at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Le Sueur at 10:30 a.m., with a visitation one hour prior at the church. Gerri was born to Carl S. Johnson and Martha E. Soldowski on November 24, 1936, in Bowlegs, Oklahoma. She married the love of her life, Bobby (Bob) Jack Aylor, on May 18, 1957, in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Together they built a beautiful life and lovingly raised four children: Robin, Melody, Crystal, and Jon.

Lucille Marie Nickolay, age 103, of New Prague, passed away peacefully on July 4, 2026.
Lucille was born on December 2, 1922, in New Prague, to John F. and Bessie Bazil Nickolay. The oldest of ten children, she grew up during the Great Depression and learned early the importance of hard work, responsibility, and caring for others. She attended St. Wenceslaus Catholic School for eight years and graduated as salutatorian of New Prague High School in 1940.
