Steven David Moravec, age 67, of New Prague passed away on July 11, 2023 at his home. A funeral service was held on August 5, 2023 at FaithPoint Lutheran Church in New Prague with Pastor Steve Trewartha officiating.
Steven was born on June 9, 1956 to Stanley L. and Irene (Sladek) Moravec in Minneapolis. Steven enjoyed biking, dogs, all kinds of music, vacations up north, collecting license plates, family gatherings for any occasion and he loved Christmas and all of the lights. He attended school and graduated in 1974. He held various jobs through Opportunity Partners and MRCI before retiring in 2018.
Steven is survived by his mother, Irene; sister, Karen (Dick) Kendall of New Prague; sister-in-law, Gail Moravec, Plymouth; nieces and nephews, Michelle (John) Dunkel, Michael (Heather) Kendall, Kristi (Dan) Licht, Kelly (John) Hoschette, Joey (Kelsy) Moravec; great-nieces and nephews, Brooke (Brenden) Forte, Colby and Hailey Dunkel, Jaxson, Joseph and Jemma Licht, Graham, Hannah and Veronica Hoschette.
He is preceded in death by his father, Stanley; brother, Joe.
