This time of year volleyball fans can pretty much schedule trips to Sub-section Playoff games if following the WEM netters.
For the 11th straight season, minus the COVID year, the Buccaneers have advanced to the Sub-Section Championship.
This year is not any different after the Bucs dismantled NRHEG, 26-24, 25-18, and 25-5 Thursday, Oct. 26 at Mankato West High School in the South Sub-Section Semifinals.
WEM played Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial for the Sub-Section title Tuesday, Oct. 31 in New Prague. If they win this match, they would face either Belle Plaine or Southwest Christian Thursday, Nov. 2 at St. Peter High School at 7:30 p.m. for the Section 2AA Championship.
In the win over NRHEG, the Bucs did a ton of things very well including recording 122 digs, missing only 3 serves in 75 attempts, having only 11 hitting errors in 166 attempts while collecting 41 kills.
