WEM kindergarten students shared how they would “Cook a Turkey” if they had the chance.
I cook my turkey with a stove. My turkey cost $100 and I got it from Wal-Mart. I got my turkey home with a car. When I cooked my turkey I put cereal in the pan with my turkey. I cooked it on 400 degrees for one minute. I ate ketchup and ranch, and chicken nuggets and ice cream with my turkey. My family ate the turkey with me. My turkey tastes good. Haddie Guy
My big brother, Thomas, or my daddy shot the turkey. I put it in a net and drive it home with a big truck. First I take out the guts and skin it, then I put it in the oven on medium for 5-15 minutes. I eat it with broccoli, tomatoes, carrots, and celery. I eat it with my whole family. It will taste like chicken. Hazel Hackett

We get it from a farm and it costs 5 bucks. You gotta replace it back. We cooked it in some bacon. You gotta put sugar in it. We cooked it in 6 minutes at burning. You gotta eat it with a fork. I eat it with some ham. My mom, dad, and brother ate it with me. It tasted like some juice. We ate it at Valentine’s Day. At Thanksgiving we eat dessert and play with our toys. I got my turkey from mom’s farm. It did not cost anything because it came from the farm. Grandpa shot it with a gun and we pulled the feathers off. We seasoned it and put it in the oven. I got my turkey from HyVee because that’s a real food store. We got a super big turkey so we could share with my whole family. My turkey cost probably twenty dollars. I made sure the turkey was in a bag and we brought it home in the back of our car. before I put the turkey in the oven I mashed it up and took off the skin. I really like mashed potatoes with my turkey, but I forgot how to cook them. The turkey should probably cook at 39 degrees for “mmm” 9 or 20 minutes. We also made hame, chicken, eggbake, and ice cream. My whole family ate with us. We get our turkeys from the yard. Our turkeys cost 1 million dollars. We cook our turkeys in a pan. We add candy to cook with our turkey. We cook our turkey at 530 degrees. Our turkey takes 35 minutes to cook. We eat bread with our turkey but NO potatoes. Grandma Heidi and neighbor Lu eat turkey with us. The turkey tastes good.
