NP boys’ volleyball has tough season opener

New Prague’s boys’ volleyball opened its season at home Thursday, April 3, against No. 2-seeded Eastview. The Lightning struck down the Trojans in three sets, 25-15, 25-13 and 25-13, but New Prague made Eastview fight for those wins.
The Trojans took on Rosemount Tuesday, April 8, results of the match were not available as of press time. Tonight (Thursday), New Prague will be at Lakeville North, 7 p.m. Saturday morning, April 12, the Trojans will be at the St. Cloud Tech Tournament, beginning at 9 a.m. There will be pool play matches vs. No. 8-seed Bemidji, Minneapolis Edison and Twin Cities Academy followed by a playoff crossover match.
