Dorothy Ann (Denzer) Moravec, 75

Dorothy Ann Moravec (Denzer), age 75, of Veseli, passed away peacefully at her home on December 22, 2024. She was born on April 7, 1949, to Wallace and Margaret (Ehrich) Denzer of Le Center.

Throughout her life, Dorothy held various jobs, but what she enjoyed most was gardening. She loved planting flowers and plants, which earned her the nickname “Grandma Butterflies.” Above all, she cherished spending time with her family, friends, and especially her grandchildren.

Dorothy is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Harold Moravec of Veseli; her children, Todd (Mandy) of Janesville, Troy (Stacy) of Mankato, and Timm (Renee) of Le Center; her grandchildren, Tyler, Kyle, Ethan, Kylie, and Hunter; as well as her siblings, Clifford Denzer,  Agnes Tuma, and Margaret LaPlant.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Wallace and Margaret Denzer, and her siblings, Marlin, Marvin, Darlene, Leroy, Shirley, Wally, Rollin, and Allen. A visitation will be held on January 18, 2025, at Veseli’s Most Holy Trinity Church from Noon to 1 p.m., followed by a Mass and a celebration of life at 2:30 p.m. at the Lonsdale Legion.
