Pioneer Power Swap Meet kicks off the flea market season
Norbert and Mary Geisen, of New Prague, decide on which enamelware to purchase. Mary said these work great to place indoor potted plants in because they save the furniture from being ruined. The Geisen’s have been making the annual trip to the Swap Meet for a least ten years. Mary’s favorite find over the years is an iron welcome sign that they have hanging on their house.

After missing out on last year, buyers and sellers were ready to wheel and deal at what has become the seasonal kick-off location to the swap meet season in the Midwest.
From Friday to Sunday, approximately 700 vendors gathered to sell their wares at the 44th Annual Le Sueur Pioneer Power Swap Meet.
