Titans place at Special Olympics Bowling
Layne Wilbright, TCU community education coordinator, said that a total of 16 competed from TCU at the Special Olympics Bowling competition, up from 8-9 that typically competed before. The competition took place at AMF Southdale Lanes in Bloomington on Nov. 12. All members competed in the ramp singles category.
Team members received certificates for their achievement at the school board meeting Dec. 12. The school board congratulated each of them and shook each of their hands.
Redick Valek and Joshua Steenhoven both scored 141 points to win first place in their category but it wasn’t the highest score from the Titans. John Carson scored 185 points, placing second for his division.
