Impending inclement weather has changed the National FFA Week/WEM Snow Week activities. But not the coronation of royalty.

Emma Woratschka, daughter of Mike and Jennifer Woratschka was crowned Snow Queen and Ethan Greenwald, son of Ron and Kris Greenwald, was crowned Snow King during the coronation held Tuesday morning in Waterville.

All other events scheduled for the week will be postponed until the week of February 27 due to the projected snow storm.

Snow Prince and Snow Princesses were also crowned from the freshman, sophomore and junior classes.

Kaitlyn LaFrance, daughter of Jared and Stacy LaFrance and Auston Holicky, son of Andy and Jennifer Holicky, were the freshman honorees.

Anna Nielsen, daughter of Harold Nielsen and Kristin Nielsen and Ivan Pratt, son of Aric and Theresa Pratt, were the sophomore honorees.

Izabella Slechta, daughter of David and Heather Slechta, and Luke Michael, son of Gary and Susan Michael, were the junior honorees.

Three males and three females in each of the high school grades were chosen as royalty. They were voted on by WEM staff based on their Bucs Pride values (respect, responsibility, safety, and positivity). Grade level students then voted for their king and queen or prince and princess of the court.
