Donald William Wolff, 85

Donald William Wolff, age 85, passed away peacefully on January 4, 2025, in Mankato, MN. He was born on March 17, 1939, in Mankato; grew up in Madison Lake; and attended Loyola Catholic School in Mankato. After graduation, he trained with the Minnesota National Guard. He married Harriet on April 28, 1962, and lived in Elysian where he farmed. He was employed by Brown Printing in Waseca. After retiring, he volunteered at St. Joseph’s Hospital.

Donald was a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus and was strong in faith. 

Donald is survived by his wife, Harriet Wolff (Swanson); son, Patrick (Sherri) Wolff of Le Center, MN; son, John (Lisa) Wolff of Waterville, MN; daughter, Jean Wolff of Sioux Falls, SD; daughter, Brenda (Chad) Gusaas of Apple Valley, MN; son, Brian (Patty) Wolff of Spring Lake Park, MN; son, David Wolff of Elysian, MN; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and extended family.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Catherine Cullen Wolff and William A. Wolff of Madison Lake, MN; infant sister, Mary Catherine Wolff; stepmother, Darlene Klemme; step-siblings, Eileen and Keith Klemme; sister and brother-in-law, Eileen and Edward Burns; niece, Shivaun Allen (Burns); sister-in-law, Jane Wolff; niece, Theresa Wolff; mother- and father-in-law, Doris Swanson and Donald Swanson; and brother-in-law, Samuel Swanson.

Funeral Mass will be 11 a.m., Monday, Jan. 13, 2025, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Mankato. Visitation will be from 1 - 4 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 12, at Mankato Mortuary and will continue one hour before service at church on Monday. The interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Mankato.
