Leona M. Roth, 93

Leona Marie Roth, age 93, died Thursday, April 30, 2020.
A Memorial service will be held at a later date to be announced. Private family burial will be in Sakatah Cemetery, Waterville. Memorials may be given to the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, 2101 Lor Ray Drive, North Mankato, MN. Arrangements are with Mankato Mortuary.
Leona was born September 17, 1926 to Jacobus and Ida D. C. (Volberding) DeVries in Fredericksburg, IA. She was united in marriage to Victor M. Roth on September 30, 1945 in Long Beach, CA. Leona was a homemaker for her family and faithfully followed her husband serving as church secretary for the congregations he served. She was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd.
Leona is survived by three daughters, Rose (Bob) Barclay of Tower, MN, Linda (Paul) Zager of Suttons Bay, MI, and Wendy (John) Greiner of Mankato; daughter-in-law, Susan (Chuck) Stenberg of Hutchinson, MN; eleven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; three in-laws, Carl Roth, Alfred Roth, and Ruth Evelyn Tippin; nieces and nephews.
Leona was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Danny; four siblings, Ralph, Paul, Verna, and Ilene.
