Rosemary DeGonda, 89

Rosemary DeGonda, 89, of Bloomington died Saturday, June 30, 2018 at Friendship Village in Bloomington. Mass of Christian burial was held at Pax Christi Catholic Community in Eden Prairie on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at 11:00 am with Fr. Bill Murtaugh presiding. Burial was at Fort Snelling, after the luncheon. Visitation was one hour prior to Mass at church.

Rosemary was born in New Prague, the daughter of John A Bednar and Agnes (Bruzek) Bednar. Both parents were of Czech descent. She had an older sister Edyth, all are deceased.

Rosemary graduated from St. Wenceslaus School and New Prague High School. She attended the Minneapolis School of Business. She married William DeGonda of Le Center on June 25, 1949. Bill passed away on June 10, 2017. They made their home in the Minneapolis area and wintered in Winter Haven, FL for many years.

Rosemary had three sons; Greg (Cindy), Steven (Darcy) and Paul. Greg passed away September of 2017. She has two grandchildren; Stephanie (Justin) and Adam and her first great grandchild coming in late July.
