A son, Peter Erik Valdmanis, was born to Erik and Nanci (Gruetzmacher) Valdmanis of New Prague, on Friday, February 28, 2025. Peter weighed 7 pounds, 13 ounces and was 22 inches long.

Grandparents are Patti Gruetzmacher, Kevin Gruetzmacher, both of Le Center and Andy and Barb Valdmanis of Prior Lake.

Great-grandparent is Helen Marxen of Northfield.
