TCU to offer free meal packs

Tri-City United will provide free meals to youth at various locations around our communities while schools are closed due to COVID-19, according to a news release Tuesday.

Parents/guardians should use this survey link to indicate the need for school meals while schools are closed: https://forms.gle/QeePAowU6fYjbJe2A

- If already completed, parents do not need to resubmit.

- The survey must be completed by 10 a.m. in order to receive meals the following day.

Tri-City United wants to make sure our students continue to have access to food during this unplanned time off due to the COVID-19 virus. Several locations, listed below, will offer free meals for all youth ages 1 to 18, starting March 18 through Friday, March 27. Curbside meals are available for pick up Monday through Friday. Bus stop location meal packs are only available Monday and Wednesday at this time.

Meal pickup locations include:

1. Curbside school building pickup
Monday through Friday, March 18 - March 27. Staff will bring meals out to curbs, to be picked up and taken home while minimizing contact. All locations will be 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
• TCU Le Center School 150 W Tyrone St: (Door #2 S entrance curb)
• TCU Montgomery School 101 2nd Street NE: (Door #1 West entrance curb)
• TCU Lonsdale School 1000 Idaho Ave: (Door #1 East entrance curb) 


2. Bus stop locations
• Bus stop locations are available Mondays and Wednesdays at this time, March 18 - March 27
• Bus stop locations meals are Breakfast/Lunch Meal Packs
• Monday 3-day meal packs - packs include three breakfast and three lunch meals

• Wednesday 2-day meal packs - packs include two breakfast and two lunch meals
