Robert (Bob) Michael Turek, 76

Robert (Bob) Michael Turek, age 76, of Montgomery, passed away peacefully on his family farm surrounded by his wife and family following a courageous battle with cancer on Saturday, July 4, 2020. A Celebration of life is pending with the Schoenbauer Funeral Home in Montgomery. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred.

Bob was born on March 21, 1944 in Montgomery to John and Evelyn (Pinc) Turek. Bob attended country school and Montgomery High School. Bob farmed and also worked at Seneca, Heat & Glow, United Steel and Master Motive in Savage.

Bob married the love of his life, Sally Sembauer on May 11, 1963. Together they raised a family of five children on their family farm.

Bob’s great love, besides family, was collecting vintage tractors and cars, playing Euchre, listening to country and polka music, watching old classic shows and playing with his furry grand puppies.

Bob’s big heart, gentle smile and family pats on the head will be greatly missed by the many left behind.

Bob will be sadly missed by his wife, Sally; children, Laura (Russ) Turek, Barb (Dennis) Gregor, Bobbie (Nick) McDonald, Mike (Tina) Turek, and Kevin Turek; grandchildren, Jeff (Jacquie) Ruhland, Sarah (Alex) Lemley, Cody McDonald, Trevor McDonald, Jessica Turek-Widboom; Patrick Schaefer, Taylor Turek and his little buddy, Landen Turek; brother, John Turek; sister, Karen David; brothers-in-law, Darvin Sembauer and Ray Stier; sister-in-law, Karen Montanez; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Bob is preceded in death by his parents; In-laws; Myles and Rosalyn Sembauer; sisters-in-law, Trudy Sembauer, Kay Sembauer, and Debbie Stier; brother-in-law, Buddy Sembauer.
