Bonnie Marie Smith, 54

Bonnie Marie Smith, age 54, of Kilkenny, died on May 9, 2020 at her home.

Born on June 1, 1965, in Mankato to Windelin and Sharon (Smith) Hill. Bonnie grew up in Elysian and attended Waterville-Elysian Public School, graduating with the class of 1984. Bonnie married Sam Smith and together they had one daughter. They were later divorced. Bonnie worked as a bartender at Fishers Corner Bar for many years. She loved her dog Mickey. Bonnie enjoyed fishing, playing games on her phone, bonfires, crocheting, and especially talking about her grandson. She will be dearly missed.

Bonnie is survived by her daughter, Kayla Smith of Faribault; grandson, Phoenix Fechner; boyfriend of thirteen years, Doug Deitert; sister: Dawn (Lyle) Arndt of Madison Lake; nieces: Vanessa, Heidi, Lana and Nicole; nephew, Brock; other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by her parents; brother, Dan Hill; and her beloved dog, Mickey.

A Celebration of Bonnie's Life will be held on a later date.
