Wrestlers win one of first five duals

The WEM/JWP Grizzly wrestling team has opened the 2017-18 season with one win in five dual matches. The Grizzlies defeated Le Sueur-Henderson 36-33 and tied Waseca 42-all, but lost by criteria Nov. 30. Saturday, Dec. 9 WEM/JWP competed in the Byron Tournament and dropped all three matches, losing 51-28 to Dover-Eyota, 51-20 to Byron, and 50-28 to Lewiston-Altura/Rushford-Peterson. Through the first two weeks of the season, Will Storch is 7-0, Adam Rients and Braydon Johnson are 7-1, and Jayden Taylor is 4-1.
