Weather leads to a great Heidelberg Community Day

Sun and temperatures in the high 70s lead to a great turnout for Heidelberg Community Day on Sunday, Sept. 10. The annual celebration, which benefits the city’s park, included a car show, music, games, inflatables and treats. A new aspect this year were vendors, who had an array of items.

The festival is sponsored by the Heidelberg Athletic Association and all proceeds from Heidelberg Community Day go to the upkeep and maintenance of the park. The city does not own the park and the fundraiser helps to keep it going. The park can be rented out for graduations, weddings, family reunions and other get-togethers.
