Track teams finally compete outdoors
For the first time this season, the WEM track and field teams got a chance to compete outside. The Bucs took part in the Triton Invitational Friday, April 21. MaeLea Harmon won the 100-meter dash in 12.92 and Sammie Petry won the pole vault, clearing a season-best height of 11-feet, 6-inches, to lead the girls' team. Jaden Taylor placed second in the pole vault and Taylor teamed with Ben Beedle, Tyson Voegele, and Chris Byrne to finish second in the 4 x 200-meter relay, leading the boys's team.
