SWAT team in Waterville

The Cannon River Drug and Violent Offender Task Force conducted an investigation of a home in Waterville Friday morning,  May 12. The home, located on North Mill Street, was surrounded by a  SWAT team, numerous other law enforcement agents, and K-9s around  10:30 a.m. The River Valley Tactical Unit broke down two doors while repeatedly asking for individuals in the home to come out. After more than an hour standoff, the task force entered the  home and it looked as if it was vacant, according to neighbors watching the raid. Law enforcement continued to search the home and the vehicles  outside of the residence. No official statement has been released by Le Sueur County or  the Drug Task Force as of 1:30 p.m. As soon as it is released, it will be posted on the  LIFE/Enterprise websites.
