Soccer matches postponed, cross country cancelled
Weather forecast makes changes to Trojan sports schedule
The weather forecast for Monday and Tuesday have altered the New Prague Trojan sports schedule for the two days.
Due to a thunderstorm expected to hit the area Monday afternoon, Oct. 2, the Trojan boys and girls home soccer games with Holy Family Catholic have been postponed to Tuesday, Oct. 3. Game times remain 5 p.m. for the boys and 7 p.m. for the girls.
Also, due to course conditions and the heavy rains expected Monday, the Victoria Lion’s Cross Country Invitational, scheduled for Tuesday at the Chaska Par 30 Golf Course, has been cancelled and will not be made up.
The Trojan tennis team’s Section 2AA meet against New Ulm scheduled for 4 p.m. Tuesday is still on the calendar.
