Sleuths find Christmas Medallion
Like every Wednesday, Jaxson and Ruby Vosejpka’s grandmother, Eileen Segna, picks them up at school.
However, Wednesday, Nov. 29 was different. After school, the three found this year’s Christmas Medallion.
Segna explained after school the two wanted a piece of pizza from Casey’s. While at the store, she picked up a Montgomery Messenger with the second clue that had just been delivered.
The three searched a couple of parks before heading to Memorial Park. They checked out the horseshoe pits, the ball field and were leaving when Segna looked at the clue again. One word stood out in the last line, "embark". “You must embark on a southerly stroll.”
She repeated the word “bark” several times before making a U-turn by the biggest tree in the park. There, in a little nest of leaves, between the two trunks was something shiny — the medallion!
