Scott Eastwood, 46

Scott Eastwood, age 46 of Waterville died on Monday, January 22, 2018 at Homestead Hospice House in Owatonna. Born on July 26, 1971 in Albert Lea, Minnesota, he was the son of John M. Eastwood Jr. and Jane Schlueter.  Scott attended school in Waterville and Faribault and later received his degree from Riverland Community College in Austin.  He was employed in construction for most of his life as well as driving truck and taxi.  Scott loved to travel.  He also enjoyed collecting antiques, fishing, ice fishing, being outdoors, camping and bonfires.  He was a former Boy Scout and Boy Scout Leader. He is survived by his mother and step-father, Jane (Jeff) Thomas of Waterville; son, Gage Eastwood of Waterville; daughter, McKenzee Eastwood of Northwood, IA; sisters, Stacy (John) Weitzel of Northwood, IA and Sabrina (Jeff) Frodl of Waterville; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.  He was preceded in death by his father; grandparents, Robert and Lucile Schlueter and Rev. John and Mary Eastwood Sr.; and step-grandparents, Fred and Mabel Thomas. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Waterville with Rev. David Mumme officiating.  Visitation will be held on Saturday from 9 a.m. until the time of services at the church.  Burial will be at Sakatah Cemetery in Waterville.  Dennis Funeral & Cremation Services of Waterville is handling arrangements.
