Senior citizens to meet on Nov. 3 The New Prague Senior Citizens will meet at 12:45 p.m. Friday, Nov. 3, at the New Prague City Hall second floor meeting room, 118 Central Ave. N. The bus picks up senior citizens for local shopping every Wednesday. For reservations call 952-496-8341. All seniors are welcome to join the club for meetings and cards the first Friday of each mont at 12:45 p.m.
Beyond the Yellow Ribbon to meet in Prior Lake on Nov. 7 Beyond the Yellow Ribbon South of the River (BTYR) will be meeting from 7-8:15 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 7, in the lower level of the Prior Lake VFW Club. Le Sueur Co. DFL to hold monthly meeting on Nov. 8 The Le Sueur County DFL group is having its monthly meeting on Wednesday, Nov. 8, at The Lake Front Bar and Grill, 35032 Clear Lake Ln, Le Center. Social hour and dinner start at 5:30 p.m. The meeting starts at 7 p.m. There will be a guest speaker who will give a status report on the Boundary Waters/Copper Mining issue. ‘Our Czech Heritage Club’ meets Nov. 8 Our Czech Heritage Club will be holding its November meeting at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 8, at the New Prague Memorial Library, 400 Main St. E. Business for the evening will be committee reports regarding the upcoming Old World Christmas Market at the Knights of Columbus Hall on Saturday, Nov. 25.
Prairie Quilters of New Prague to hold meeting on Nov. 9 The Prairie Quilters of the New Prague area will hold their November meeting at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 9, at the New Prague City Hall, 118 Central Ave. N. Darlene Boeckman will present a program on Tips for Sewing. They will also have a short meeting plus Show and Tell. Cases for Ryan are due. Please make sure they have been washed in free and clear soap, ironed, and placed in plastic. The Prairie Quilters will deliver them and will bring the remainder in April. Guests are always welcome.
