People can learn more about Hospice at Jan. 9 meeting The BeFriender Ministry welcomes the public to hear Heidi Simon, social worker for Minnesota Hospice, inform people about the benefits of hospice. This event is open to all, not just for those who may be considering it at this time. The session will be held at St. Wenceslaus Parish, 215 Main St. E, in the lower level of the church (west entrance), at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 9. For more information call Ann at 952-758-3456.
Le Sueur County DFL to hold its monthly meeting on Jan. 10 The Le Sueur County DFL group is having its monthly meeting on Wednesday, Jan. 10, at The American Legion, 97 S. Park Ave., in Le Center. Social hour and dinner start at 5:30 p.m. The meeting starts at 7 p.m. The meeting agenda will include information on the upcoming caucuses on February 6 and information on the special election in District 23B on February 12. Please come. All are welcome.
Parkinson support group to meet on Jan. 23 The Parkinson support group will meet from 1-2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 23, at the New Prague Library, 400 Main St. E. Care givers, family and friends are encouraged to also attend. The Parkinson support group normally meets the fourth Tuesday of each month, although that is subject to change.
