Leonard Kukacka
Leonard M. Kukacka, 69, of Montgomery, died unexpectedly at his home on Monday, Sept. 25, 2017. Funeral services were held at 11a.m. on Friday, Sept. 29 at the Schoenbauer Funeral Home in Montgomery. Visitation was held one hour prior to service time at the funeral home. Interment was at the Bohemian National Cemetery in rural Montgomery.
Leonard was born on May 26, 1948, to Frank and Christine (Bartusek) Kukacka in New Prague. He was a lifelong resident of Montgomery. He spent most of his days at home. When he wasn't staying busy in the yard, he was caring for his beloved dog, Arya, or catching up on his programs.
Leonard cared deeply for his family and thought of them often. He would have gone to great lengths to ensure their well-being and happiness. Anyone who knew him will remember him for his kind words and genuine smile.
Leonard is survived by his sons, Jody (Anastasia) Kukacka of St. Peter, Chris (Kathy) Kukacka of St. Peter, and Andrew (fiancée, Allie Lehnen) Kukacka of Montgomery; grandchildren, Faith Ortiz, Dante Ortiz-Kukacka, Andre Ortiz-Kukacka, Abby, Bryan, Emily, and Zoey Kukacka, and one on the way due in April, 2018; brothers, Ralph Kukacka of Montgomery; and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Henry, Clarence, George, Robert, and Roger Kukacka; and sister, Arlene Stanke.
