Indians ousted from Region Tourney

The Waterville Indians amateur baseball team was defeated, 6-4 in 11 innings by Wells in the Region 4C consolation semifinals Saturday, August 12 in Cannon Falls. The loss ends the Indians season. Wells went on to lose to Blue Earth in the consolation championship game. Blue Earth, Cannon Falls, and Hampton will represent Region 4C in the Class C State Tourney starting this weekend.
