Garage sale bargains

Beautiful spring weather and garage sales greeted bargain hunters at the annual City-Wide Garage Sales on Saturday. Among the many registered sales was the one held by the Montgomery Area Community Club. The sale was full of Kolacky Days memorabilia, including a large variety of t-shirts, buttons, and hats. Pictured are Sandy and Don Zellmer taking advantage of some of the bargains. Helping them out is MACC member Carol Kiekow (right). On top of the good prices, MACC gave discounts to members! Proceeds of the sale went to the Arts and Heritage effort to restore the Montgomery mural or have a new one painted. (Wade Young Photo)
