Darlene Ann Rezac, age 78
Darlene Ann Rezac, age 78 of Elko, MN passed away on May 14, 2017. Darlene was born on August 7th, 1938 to Emil and Mabel Valek.
She grew up in the Hazelwood area on the family farm. She worked at Carleton college before marrying Robert on September 9th, 1959.
They raised 7 children on the farm near Webster while working some summers at Green Giant and retiring from Sheldahl after 22 years.
Survived by husband, Robert; children, Colleen (John) Goettl, Cindy (Bruce) Goettl, Cheryl (Alan) Guffey, LuAnn (Kurt) Janda, Kevin (Lisa) Rezac, Dean (Pat) Rezac and Troy (Teresa) Rezac; 17 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; siblings, Darrell (Charlotte) Valek, Larry (Roxanne) Valek, Kathleen (Lawrence) McFadden, Duane (Jean) Valek and LaVonne Flaherty, also by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Mass of Christian Burial was 10 AM Thursday, May 18, 2017 at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Veseli, MN. Visitation was 4-8 PM Wednesday, May 17 at White Funeral Home, Lonsdale, MN and also on Thursday from 9-10 AM at the funeral Home. Interment, Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
