Cruise Night at Lonsdale Community Days
Lonsdale is celebrating Community Days this weekend. Friday’s activities include Cruise Night, with the line up of vehicles at Main Street S, and rolling out at 7 p.m. Later that evening, families can go to Mackenthun’s Fine Foods for the drive-in movie “Trolls.” Plus the band Tripwire will be providing music for that evening’s street dance.
There are many activities on Saturday including the Skywarn Pancake Breakfast, the ZJ’s 5K Walk/Run, the Kid’s Fun Run, Pedal Tractor Pull, a BBQ Cook Off, a BMX Bike Stunt Show and a beanbag tournament.
The Grand Parade is at 1 p.m. on Saturday, which runs along Main Street. Kids inflatables will be at the Lonsdale American Legion parking lot, families can go inside for food and drinks. The Kids Activities features a free petting zoo, pony rides, face painting, a dunk tank and games with prizes. At 7 p.m. is Steele Domain Wrestling at Trenda Memorial Park. The Bad Girlfriends will be playing for a second street dance to be held Saturday evening.
Sunday, Aug. 13, features the Tractor-Truck-Semi Pull at the south end of Main Street. The pits open at 9 a.m., registration closes at 11 a.m. and the rst pull is at noon.
