Council holds hearings on liquor licenses

Two public hearings were held concerning liquor licenses at the New Prague City Council’s Monday, May 15, meeting. One was for a change in management at Carbone’s Pizza & Sports Bar and the other was for Giesenbrau Bier Co., the new brewery and taproom. There was no public comment during the hearings and the council unanimously approved both businesses’ licenses.

Carbone’s Pizza & Sports Bar The city received a new application from Mason and Mattie Jurchisin for Carbone’s, who will be operating the business at 825 First St. SE under m2Food, for an onsale intoxicating liquor license and Sunday liquor license.
