City moves housing development forward
The New Prague Planning Commission unanimously recommended approval for a conditional use permit for a planned unit development (PUD) at its Wednesday, July 27, meeting. The PUD is for Witt Development in New Prague, which is working on a plan for residential housing on the southeast side of town, behind Coborn’s Superstore. During a public hearing, residents had questions answered about the development. The request for the permit will now be presented to the New Prague City Council at 6 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 1, at City Hall. For more see the Thursday, Aug. 4, print edition of The New Prague Times.
