Bucs advance in Sub-Section

The WEM boys basketball team edged JWP, 58-56, Tuesday, March 6 in the opening round of the Section 2A South Sub-Section Playoffs. Bladyn Bartelt hit a go-ahead three-pointer with 17 seconds to play which gave the Bucs the win. Bartelt and Tanner Ranslow each scored 20 points for the winners. WEM will now face the No. 1 rated team in Class A, Springfield, Thursday, March 8 at Lake Crystal at 6 p.m. in the South Sub-Section Semifinals.
